Amer Al Rawas

Prof. Rawas is an experienced transformation thought leader with specialization in technology & innovation. He is a globally recognized Leadership Coach and Keynote Speaker. His hands-on executive leadership experience as CEO of multibillion dollar listed companies has paved the way for the current consulting & coaching services capitalizing on well-established technologies and tools developed by the Global partners.

Prof. Rawas served as the CEO of Omantel amongst other Executive posts in the telecommunications and Oil & Gas sectors and most recently former Group CEO of Tasneea Oil & Gas Technology LLC. He has also served on numerous boards of listed companies and NGO’s locally and regionally. He is currently the Chairman of Solar Wadi, Chairman of Oman Society for Petroleum Services (OPAL) and Chairman of the Industrial Innovation Center (IIC).

In his academic capacity, Prof. Rawas was the longest serving member of the Oman Education Council (22 years), a member at the Oman Academic Accreditation Authority (OAAA). His last academic position at Sultan Qaboos university was the dean of Educational Services which included 6 educational support centers and the libraries. Pro. Rawas is currently the Dean of the IT and Business School at New Vision University (NVU) in Georgia.

Prof. Rawas holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence from Sussex University, UK.
